Documentation method

We distinguish a subject heading from a text quoted from a source. An index title organizes knowledge; it is not presented as a scholarly quotation or a judgment about the subject.

Attribution is checked against the author and work, with references and page numbers retained where available. Unreadable text is not completed by guesswork, and source boundaries are not merged without explanation.

Translations remain connected to their originals, while interface wording is kept separate from source texts. Scholarly information requires review of its supporting material before publication within the encyclopedia.
